About

Throughout my life, things have come and gone. But one thing always remained: my love of sports. I started watching sports as young as I can remember. I played football and basketball throughout my life and found a particular love for basketball. I knew I wanted to stay around sports in my career. If I could not play professional sports, I figured the next best thing was to talk about them.
In high school, I attended Grace College and completed their college launch program. I graduated with a high school diploma and an associates degree in May of 2023.
I committed to Indiana Wesleyan University to pursue a degree in multimedia communications, specializing in sports media and broadcast. During my time at IWU, I have gained lots of valuable experience and skills in all forms of media. I have had opportunities to work and learn under some great professionals and supervisors.
My first year, I was able to participate in many forms of media, such as camera operator, broadcastcaster, board operator, on-air jock, and news writing.
second year, I joined Amplify Media as the general manager of 94.3 The Fortress, the campus radio station. I continued my many engagements in sports media. But I got more opportunities and got a deeper look into the inner workings of journalism and broadcasting with my involvement with Amplify Media.
While in college, I take every opportunity presented and always am wanting to learn and know everything there is to know. I want to go behind the curtain of a game outcome and know exactly what it was that the winning team was able to do so well and what held back the losing team. I have always loved the statistics and information involved in a game and want to give the audience that same joy.
